ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)

ADHD affects both children and adults—often in ways that can be deeply frustrating and misunderstood. Whether it’s chronic disorganization, difficulty focusing, restlessness, or emotional overwhelm, ADHD can impact everyday life, relationships, work, and self-esteem.

At Kells Psychology, we offer comprehensive assessments for ADHD and ongoing therapeutic support for children, teens and adults tailored to your unique experience. Our team of experienced clinicians are here to help you gain clarity, feel empowered, and build the tools to thrive.

We offer in-person assessments and counselling at our South Edmonton office, conveniently situated for clients in Edmonton, Nisku, Leduc, Beaumont, Sherwood Park and area. Virtual counselling sessions are also available for residents across Alberta.

Could It Be ADHD?

ADHD looks different for everyone. It’s more than just being “easily distracted” or “always on the go.” For many, ADHD can feel like trying to tune into one voice in a room full of noise, or like every task demands more energy than it should.

Common ADHD Symptoms Include:

Challenges with Focus:

  • Struggling to complete tasks or follow conversations
  • Frequently losing important items
  • Avoiding tasks that feel overwhelming
  • Difficulty managing time and responsibilities

Restlessness & Impulsivity:

  • Fidgeting or inner agitation
  • Speaking or acting without thinking
  • Starting many projects without finishing
  • Feeling like your mind never stops racing

ADHD is often missed – especially in girls and women, where symptoms may be more internalized.
