Parenting Capacity
Expert parenting capacity evaluations for families in and around Edmonton, Leduc, Beaumont, Sherwood Park, and Alberta, assessing parenting skills, protective factors, and risk factors to support informed decisions and child wellbeing.

Assessment Components:
- Clinical interviews with parent
- Standardized psychometric measures
- Collateral information gathering (if needed)
- Review of relevant documentation

Indications for Referral:
- Child protection concerns
- Cases involving parental mental health concerns
- Cases involving parental substance use issues
- Situations requiring expert opinion on parenting capacity

All assessments are conducted or supervised by registered mental health psychologists with specialized training in assessments at our Edmonton office or virtually.

1. Contact our intake team with basic client information
2. Our assessment coordinator will provide an estimated timeline and cost
3. We’ll schedule the assessment and keep you informed of the process
