Brendon Gordon (he/him) is a counselling practicum student who works with individuals from an empathetic yet direct approach to support their unique situations and challenges. He understands that life can be difficult and believes growth is often supported through vulnerability and self-empathy. Brendon resonates with a holistic approach to therapy, where emotions, warmth, curiosity, and presence play a central role in healing. He strongly values self-exploration within a safe environment and aims to support individuals in discovering their own true healing. He believes each person holds a deep, lived understanding of themselves, and that self-knowledge becomes the foundation for meaningful growth and change.

Brendon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Alberta and is currently completing his Master of Counselling degree at City University of Seattle. He has volunteered over a year and half with the CMHA Distress line and has assistant coached numerous children’s teams including the children’s with diverse needs “Ball Hogs” team. One of the most meaningful experiences in Brendon’s professional journey has been volunteering at the CMHA Distress line where he has strengthened his ability to be present with people in moments of vulnerability and reinforced his commitment to compassionate, client-centred care. Brendon’s favorite quote is “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” - Carl Jung Brendon enjoys meditation, has too many house plants, and truly enjoys quiet time out in nature.
