Julia Newell

Administrative Assistant

Julia (she/her) joined the Kells Team in April 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and has been involved in RESET program development. She is currently a university undergraduate student working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Julia is dedicated to creating a warm and supportive atmosphere at Kells. Dealing with some of the behind-the-scenes aspects of psychological services, she approaches her role at reception with kindness and understanding. She strives to be a friendly face in the building and develop a rapport with clients and staff. In the future, Julia plans to pursue a master’s degree and become a registered psychologist. Working at Kells aligns with Julia’s values of generosity, communication, and service to the community of Edmonton.

When she’s not keeping up with schoolwork, Julia can be found on the couch with a good book or at her desk writing. Julia is always seeking to expand her knowledge of history, literature, and all kinds of art—both in and out of academic settings. One of her favourite hobbies is to host friends and family on the weekends for parties, dinners, and movie nights. She loves baking anything and everything, and is always looking to try out new recipes in her spare time.
