Lauren is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Manager at Kells Psychology, where she is recognized for her expertise in assessment, clinical supervision, and evidence-based therapeutic practice. With a career spanning over 15 years, Lauren is committed to supporting clients through life’s transitions, fostering resilience, and facilitating meaningful change.

Lauren is qualified as an expert witness in the Provincial Court of Alberta, specializing in parenting capacity, psychological, learning, vocational, and psycho-legal assessments. She conducts Practice Note 7 and 8 assessments, personal injury evaluations, capacity and fitness-for-duty assessments, and home studies for foster/adoptive suitability.
Leadership & Supervision
As Clinical Manager, Lauren oversees ethical standards, clinical systems, and professional development at Kells. She leads monthly ethics and case conceptualization meetings, supervises critical incident responses, and provides direct mentorship to practicum students and Registered Provisional Psychologists. Lauren holds a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Supervision in Psychology and is an approved Practicum Supervisor in the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program at Yorkville University.
Lauren is actively engaged in teaching and training, serving as a guest instructor for graduate programs and leading workshops on assessment, supervision, and leadership for mental health professionals.
Professional Development & Affiliations
Lauren is committed to lifelong learning and regularly participates in advanced training on topics such as autism assessment (ADOS-2), trauma and EMDR protocols, Indigenous awareness, and neuropsychology. She is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists, Psychologists Association of Alberta, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
