More About Daniel

Daniel (he/him) completed his Master of Counselling degree through City University of Seattle (Edmonton program). Daniel has always valued working with others. Prior to becoming a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Daniel has always worked in the humanities/service industry which has enhanced communication and teamwork skills. In counselling, Daniel comes from a person-centered and collaborative perspective. Daniel has deep respect and compassion for those he works with. He utilizes techniques from Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused, as well as having an appreciation for techniques found in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Daniel is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for survivors of traumatic experiences. Daniel recognizes that diversity is an integral component of a client’s identity and incorporates this into all his sessions.
