Kayla (she/her) is compassionate and recognizes the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance by creating a relaxed and non-judgmental environment which is used to engage in self-exploration with clients. As a therapist, her goal is to work collaboratively with all clients to foster resilience and promote growth while taking steps towards the goals they aim to achieve.

More about Kayla

Kayla Hare (she/her) obtained her Masters of Counselling degree through the University of Calgary and also completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Applied Psychology from Concordia University of Edmonton. Prior to completing her Masters, Kayla worked with high-risk individuals and families in a variety of roles, including addictions, mental health, and families with children with disabilities. Kayla continues to provide respite support to families with children with a variety of behavioral needs. Kayla brings to her practice her knowledge of working with diverse populations and her experience of being married with three young children. Kayla is trained in assessment and is currently assisting with parenting assessments, learning and functional assessments, personal injury, and vocational assessments. Kayla is also trained to complete home assessment reports to determine applicants’ suitability and potential to be foster/adoptive parents. When providing assessment services, Kayla’s goal is to help clients build awareness and understanding of the results while providing recommendations and resources to aid in future growth.
