Tanmeet (she/her) says that what drew her to this enriching profession is the opportunity to foster positive change in people’s lives. She believes that the human mind is a complex landscape, and guiding individuals through self-discovery and empowerment is both an honor and a joy.

More About Tanmeet

Tanmeet has been a compassionate and dedicated psychology assistant with Kells Counselling since November, 2022. Her academic foundation includes a bachelor’s degree with a psychology major and a master’s in clinical psychology. Eager to deepen her understanding and enhance her skills, she pursued an advanced diploma in counselling psychology from Jamia Millia Islamia. To ensure a comprehensive grasp of the Canadian context, she also completed a few courses from Athabasca University. She finds fulfilment in continuously learning and applying her knowledge to make a positive impact. Tanmeet’s motto revolves around embracing growth through a commitment to ongoing education and fostering compassion in every interaction. Beyond her professional pursuits, Tanmeet brings a multilingual dimension to her work, proficiently communicating in four languages: Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, and English. Linguistic versatility allows her to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, Tanmeet enjoys reading, meditation and exploring different foods.
