Key Areas Evaluated are parenting skills and capacity, and potential risk factors and protective factors.
Assessment Components:
- Clinical interviews with parent
- Standardized psychometric measures
- Collateral information gathering (if needed)
- Review of relevant documentation
Indications for Referral:
- Child protection concerns
- Cases involving parental mental health concerns
- Cases involving parental substance use issues
- Situations requiring expert opinion on parenting capacity

All assessments are conducted under the supervision of a psychologist who specializes in assessment.

- Comprehensive written report
- Expert recommendations for intervention or support
- Optional court testimony (additional fees apply)

2. Our assessment coordinator will provide an estimated timeline and cost
